25 Branksome Road - Tree roots blocking disabled parking bay and growing up through private garden path.

This tree’s root system is now causing several serious problems.

Firstly, it has broken through the pavement, kerb and gutter for nearly two metres and is not only causing damage to the public footpath and highway, but is now a serious trip hazard and is preventing me from safely using the the disabled parking bay that has recently been installed at that location. I am unable to park safely with my driver door at the pavement because the root growth stops me from opening the door and getting out. And even if I could open the door I would find it impossible to negotiate the root growth as I am unstable and walk with a stick

Secondly, the root growth has spread so far from the tree now that it is now forcing its way up through my front garden tiled path and has destroyed the pathway in several locations. Furthermore, it is also forcing its way up through the paving in the front garden area generally now and is showing sign a of doing serious damage to that also.

This problem needs to be dealt with urgently. I am possibly going to have to refer the matter to my household insurer because of the permanent damage that has now been caused to my property.

Please advise how this can be resolved.
