Road surface problem. Crater forming.

Road surface problem 1 meter crater forming in the road at the junction of Rowan road and Oak Row. There is also a mains drain man hole cover on the road just 6 feet away which is starting to sink in. When buses or heavy goods vehicle drive over the crater and man hole cover it makes a huge loud bang noise due to low body suspensions on buses. It also creates vibration to buildings. Similar problem happened just over 2 months ago on the opposite side of the road. Reason to believe there could be a sink hole. Please investigate and repair.
