St Helier Ave - Abandoned Toyota for last 4-5 months

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1288710-J5R5H2.

Abandoned black Toyota Prius for at least last 4-5 months. Car is without valid MOT so is illegal to park on public road and car must be removed. Could you please do something about it. Thank you.

    We will investigate to decide if the vehicle has been abandoned.

    If it is abandoned, we will give notice to the owner before we remove it. The length of notice depends on the circumstances, and is normally:

    • 7 days for vehicles on the public highway that are not dangerous - this applies to most abandoned vehicles

    • 24 hours if we decide the vehicle is dangerous

    • 15 days if the vehicle is on private land unless the landowner or occupier objects
