Untaxed and uninsured vehicle with cloned number plates has been dumped here back in February and you keep changing the status to closed every time we report it. IT NEEDS DEALING WITH

  • Thank you for reporting an abandoned vehicle.

    We will investigate to decide if the vehicle has been abandoned.

    If it is abandoned, we will give notice to the owner before we remove it. The length of notice depends on the circumstances, and is normally:

    • 7 days for vehicles on the public highway that are not dangerous - this applies to most abandoned vehicles

    • 24 hours if we decide the vehicle is dangerous

    • 15 days if the vehicle is on private land unless the landowner or occupier objects
