Rowan Road, several young trees need urgent watering to survive

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9773284.

Several newly planted young trees along the western side of Rowan Road are wilting entirely and seem in intense heat stress. One tree has sadly been also vandalised and been ripped off so might need pruning and support. Signs ask the public to water which I don't believe is happening and carrying buckets of water around the neighbourhood does also not seem an ideal solution for most people unless you live directly in front of those trees and have an eye for it. I don't know how long the issue has been present but I have seen a similar issue reported on the 30th of June, 2026 and it does not seem intervention has happened up until now.
