Merton high street - deep depressions in road at bus stop SH
Reported in the Potholes and Surface Problems category anonymously at 14:56, Thursday 16 July 2026
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1289861-W6K9N2.
At bus stop SH the depressions in the road from the buses have got significantly deeper - I would estimate at the worst part it dips 10-15cm below the normal surface of the road. this is incredibly dangerous for cyclists in the area, as if you do not hit the road at the correct place you are thrown off due to slipping down these dips. it is also now deep enough that it can damage car rims.
