Street Trees Overgrown, Lifting Pavements, Blocking Light etc

The London Plane trees on Ethelbert Rd and Albert Grove were due to be pollarded in March but did not happen, so it is now 3 years. In the past the trees were cared for efficiently and pollarded every year. Because they have been left so long it will be a longer process and more costly as a result particularly fixing the damage they have caused. The pavements near the trees are lifting and it is very noticeable where we sweep the leaves regularly. The trees are within a metre of our windows and in some cases touching the houses, they are blocking daylight and the street lights. The branches are long and low and breaking off causing problems. This year we had fruit on the trees and the dust has been horrendous causing coughing, it is an irritant, we have not had this before and it is all over our cars and gardens. They have invasive roots and in a residential area, should be controlled and pollarded every year or every other. Trees are important but must be maintained efficiently. The trees have been completely overlooked, so we need them pollarded as a matter of priority before the spring and before more damage is caused. Thank you.
