There are two potholes directly in line with each other, causing cars, vans and other vehicles to strike both at the same time. This results in a significant jolt and a loud vibration, which can be heard and felt by nearby residents. The problem is particularly severe when large vans and commercial vehicles travel along the road, as their weight causes even greater impact and vibration. During the night, the noise regularly wakes people in the surrounding properties. The potholes have been present for several months and have continued to deteriorate. They are getting worse at an alarming rate, with both defects sinking deeper into the road surface. The repeated impact from large vans and other heavy vehicles is accelerating the deterioration, increasing the risk of vehicle damage and creating a growing hazard for all road users.
