Zebra Crossing nearly invisible to motorists as no road markings

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1292112-M9V4Z5.

Nearly been knocked over twice this morning at zebra crossing as unfamiliar motorists (busier now diverted) cannot see the zebra crossing road markings by the church. There are belisha beacons but not noticeable during the day. The white markings on the zebra crossing are nearly non-existent and cars (particularly those coming up Cottenham Park Road) are not stopping/not aware there is a crossing. School children use this crossing during term time. It is unsafe.
