Insufficient Permit Holder Bays

Subject: Request for Additional Permit Holder Parking Bays on Courthope Villas

Dear Parking Services,

I am writing to raise a concern regarding the lack of permit holder parking bays on Courthope Villas.

I live at 2 Courthope Villas and have paid for a resident parking permit. However, there is currently only one permit holder bay directly outside my property, and it is always occupied. In fact, the same vehicle has been parked there for over two months without being moved, making the bay effectively unavailable for other permit holders.

As a result, despite paying for a parking permit, I am regularly forced to park a considerable distance away from my home, which is both inconvenient and defeats the purpose of the resident permit scheme.

There appears to be sufficient space to create additional permit holder bays along the road, particularly near the entrance to Courthope Villas where there are currently single yellow lines. Converting some of this space into resident permit bays would significantly improve parking availability for local residents.

I would appreciate it if the council could review the current parking arrangements on Courthope Villas and consider increasing the number of permit holder bays. I would also be grateful if the vehicle that appears to have remained in the same bay for an extended period could be looked into, if appropriate.
